Workshops

Organizing a Workshop in your Area

Each workshop must have a minimum of 12 people. The organizer of the workshop must arrange for a workshop space large enough to accommodate all participants seated in chairs facing opposite from one another with room in between the rows for the instructors. The only equipment required is chairs. The workshop space can be as simple as a large living room or it can be held in a hotel conference space. A complete workshop course requires 40 hours of instruction over a one week period. Normally an introductory lecture is given one evening and then is followed by the course occurring over the next week and weekend both in the evening and during the weekend days. Students regularly receive Vita-Flex treatments which are scheduled before and after the course times.

Tom will require a place to stay while he teaches the course and a place where he can conduct Vita-Flex treatments. Once again the only equipment required is chairs.

The organizer will be responsible for organizing the private treatment schedule. Tom has brochures (printed and e-mail forms) as well as basic poster formats for advertising the event.

The workshop organizer is compensated for their work managing the workshop usually by way of being able to attend the workshop free and depending on the circumstances and costs involved ( space, travel, advertising etc) receiving a percentage of the course and treatment fees. These details will be worked out in advance with Tom.
